The agent sends two kinds of reports to Cmd's diagnostics endpoint: error reports, and agent diagnostic reports. Error reports send immediately when an error occurs, whereas agent diagnostic reports send only when triggered by Cmd support.

Agent diagnostic reports contain information about the agent which can provide clues for troubleshooting and other investigations. When diagnostic reports are generated, they go to Cmd engineering for analysis.

Generating agent diagnostic reports:

  • SOS statistics

  • Agent version

  • Config.ini

  • Serialized config (server, session, and agent config)

  • Memory-usage statistics

  • Uptime

  • Server CPU specifications and usage

  • Offline statistics

  • System limits

  • FD information

  • Shared memory
