The Cmd Home page displays infographics that help you visualize the activity on your servers. This page is accessible to all Cmd users except Server Operators.

If you have access to more than one project, the charts on the Home page will only show data related to the current one.

You can customize the default charts, or create your own from scratch.

By default, the Home page shows the following:

A. Sessions per day

B. Command executions per day

C. Sessions per location (map on the left), and locations by number of sessions (list on the right)

D. Servers by number of file edits and views

E. Number of unresolved alerts

F. Root executions by user

Change the time range on Home page charts

By default, the charts on the Home page display data from the past month.
Note: These charts auto-update every five minutes.

To change your charts' time settings, select a different option from the dropdown list at the top right of the page:

Note: The selected time period is stored in a browser cookie. If you clear cookies, the chart time settings will revert back to the defaults.


Edit or remove a chart

  1. In the top-right corner of the Home page, click Edit.

  2. Hover over the chart you'd like to edit or remove:

  • To adjust a chart, click Edit Chart. When finished, click Save.

  • To delete a chart, click Remove. 


Add a new chart

  1. In the top-right corner of the Home page, click Edit.

  2. In the dotted area below the currently-displayed charts, click the add icon  to add a new chart. This option only exists when there are fewer than 6 charts in the layout. 

    3. Enter a chart title.

    4. In the 'Query' field, add any CQL queries that you want to filter the chart's data. 

    5. Select a chart type.

    6. Customize the graph by adjusting the layout, what's displayed on each axis, the           color(s) used, etc.

    7. When satisfied, click Save.

    8. Repeat steps 1-7 to add up to 6 charts.

    9. Before navigating away from the Home page, lock in your changes by clicking              Save in the top-right corner.



Move or resize a chart

  1. In the top-right corner of the Home page, click Edit.

    -  To move a chart, click and drag it to a different position.

       -  To resize a chart, click and drag its bottom-right corner.

    2. Continue moving and/or resizing your charts until you're satisfied with your                    display.

    3. To lock in your changes, click Save in the top-right corner of the page.
