Once you've created a trigger in one project, you can copy it to another project.

Limitation: Triggers can only be copied between projects on the same Cmd subdomain. For example, if you have a project at sub1.cmd.com and another project at sub2.cmd.com, this process will not help you to copy a trigger between them. You will have to copy the trigger manually.

Instructions:

  1. View the trigger you wish to copy.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the edit button, then click copy.

  3. In the pop-up, choose a destination project, and then click Copy trigger:

Copied triggers are the same as the originals, except for two things:

  • Any trigger actions involving third-party integrations get removed (since they are project specific).

  • A time string gets appended to their titles: " - copied on [YYYYMMDD]-[HHMMSS]"
